Richard was the founder of Philips Legal Solutions ltd who are regulated by the solicitors regulatory authority. The firm help hundreds of people every month protect their assets and design their succession plans. He secured the prestigious status with the Institute of Professional Will writes as their preferred trust writers.

Prior to Philips, Richard was in banking latterly with Royal Bank of Scotland as their private client division. He is a keen sportsperson and enjoys traveling round Europe and competing in motor racing.

Eve qualified as a solicitor in 2005. Eve has always specialised in private client work and advises clients on matters relating to Estate planning and Trusts. Eve specialises in advising both high net worth clients and elderly and vulnerable clients. She is a member of The Society of Trusts & Estates Practitioners (STEP) and a professional member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). Eve was appointed the President of her local Law Society, The Southport & Ormskirk Law Society, on the 8th February 2017. Eve is a Dementia Champion and holds regular Dementia Friends Sessions, volunteers as a Befriended for The Alzheimer's Society and involved with the scheme 'A Will To Remember'.

Eve also volunteers her time by attending, when she can, at “Singing for the Brain Sessions”, “Active & Involved” and “Music & Wellbeing” sessions provided by the local Alzheimer’s Society at The Salvation Army. Eve also volunteers her time for other charities; The Cinnamon Dog Trust, Contact the Elderly and PETS (Pets as Therapy). She is also involved in fundraising for the Queenscourt Hospice in Southport.

Kay recently joined the firm as our senior accountant. She has bee a qualified accountant for 10 years, working for and within a wide range of sectors and owning her own practice.

She is an experience professional, who looks after our firm as well as overseeing the team who manage tax administration on trusts.

Michael graduated at Manchester University with a Law degree. He qualified as a solicitor in London with Charles Chaplin & Co. He moved into personal tax and financial planning with Anderson’s and moved to Kleinwort Benson in 2000 as a senior consultant advising wealthy private clients.

In 20 he became a director of Faculty coaching and training 250 professionals with BPP for 8 years, before founding his own training business. Michael lectures on trusts, inheritance tax and capital gains tax.

David is the Senior Trust Specialist for Philips who guides clients on the management of Trusts, and Estate Planning Solutions. He graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Law and Business Studies and went on to utilise his knowledge in his own retail business for over 10 years. His consultancy skills led him back to his roots in Law where he has since specialised in the Private Client sector.

Outside of his work David enjoys several sports, particularly Football, Cricket and Rugby.

Peter has previously had a number of businesses. He was Managing Director Horgan Legal Ltd and Crystal Documents. He was a senior partner at Premier Banking Consultants and a regional Director Aegon Financial Services.

Outside of work Peters interests include duties as Chairman Chorley Masonic Hall and has a keen interest in the World Rally Championship.

After qualifying in Pharmaceuticals sales and business development, Franks worked for a number of year as an AAT accountant in practice in the North East. Having run his own business and helped a number of SMES from small to larger, he has a wealth of experience in both B2B and B2C sales, including business strategies and wealth planning.

His experience in the pensions industry, coupled with his knowledge of tax efficient and savings products enables Frank to offer professional, systematic and robust planning advice to his clients

Lynda has been in the financial services industry all of her working life in addition to her voluntary roles as a Trustee of Age Concern, Board Member of a South Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and as a Magistrate. She has also has experience of setting up and running her own business alongside her Financial Services work. Lynda has also served as a local Councillor and stood as a Parliamentary Candidate.

Married with three grown up children Lynda has won awards for Best Newcomer, Long Term Care Advisor, second in the country from The Royal Bank of Scotland and a Top Sales Consultant for Inter-Alliance, Millfield and Whitehall Financial. Lynda was also elected Business Woman of the Year by her local Chamber of Commerce.

As an Independent Financial Advisor, Lynda specialised in Investments, Film Partnerships, Pensions, SIPPS and Long Term Care.

Jayne is a long-standing member of the Society of Will Writers. She has recently joined The Philips Trust Corporation in a new role as Head of Legal Services. Jayne is greatly looking forward to bringing her wealth of experience to the role and navigating its exciting challenges.

Previously, Jayne founded and ran her own successful company specialising in Will Writing, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Prior to that, Jayne spent 15 years in a managerial role for the NHS, arranging the Angiography within the Radiology Department for NMGH.

Paul is a fantastic addition to our team and manages the Media City office. He has spent most of his career in recruitment and HR, coming to us from Manpower. His track record of success is enviable. He is disciplined and always puts customer service at the top of the teams objectives.

Ronnie has a wealth of experience over a long number of years, across Public and Private sectors and Financial Services, owning and running a number of businesses, working as an Investment Consultant for Hill Samuel the Merchant Bank, before returning in the late 80’s to the NHS, where he occupied several senior positions, ultimately as Operations Director for a large group of hospitals in Edinburgh. In the late 90’s he moved back to the Financial Services industry, successfully running an IFA and Finance Broking business and specialising in Inheritance Planning and Asset Protection. He is still enthusiastic about helping clients protect and grow their hard earned financial resources.

A keen rugby player until his early 40’s he now devotes his spare time to his wife and grown up family but also acting principally as an unpaid chauffeur to his youngest 15 year old daughter.

Eduardo has 30 years experience in global equity investing, having been a director and portfolio manager at Mariner Capital, Sagitta Asset Management, Mercury Asset Management. He has managed equity portfolios for institutional pension funds, unit trusts, charities, SICAVs and UCITS. Eduardo sits on the Rivers asset allocation committee and provides tactical asset allocation advice for the multi-asset portfolios. Eduardo is a director of Rivers Capital Management and he sits on Philips investment advisory board.

Richard has over 20 years of asset management experience, with a focus on portfolio construction, manager selection and risk management. Previously, Richard worked for Newscape Capital Group, Nemesis Asset Management, Lehman Brothers Asset Management and JPMorgan Private Bank. Richard is a founding director of Rivers Capital Management and he sits on Philips investment advisory board.

Sophie has 7 years’ experience working in the investment industry, which has been spent working with Laurence Boyle at Williams De Broe, Investec Wealth and Investment and now MAIA Asset Management. Sophie co-manages the portfolios alongside Laurence and the MAIA team. In addition to this, Sophie contributes to the research which formulates the strategic and tactical asset allocation of the portfolios. Sophie also has an active role within the fund research process.

With over 30 years fund management experience, Laurence is perfectly positioned to manage your money effectively and successfully. Laurence managed multi-manager funds for Williams de Broe and latterly Investec, where, over the years, he received numerous Gold S&P awards for the management and performance of these funds, as well as ranking in the top 100 European fund managers by Citywire. In addition to this, Laurence also has years of research experience, having chaired the collective research team at both Investec and Williams de Broe.

Martin is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He commenced his career with the Isle of Man Company Registry before later moving into the private sector. He actively manages a growing team and provides strategic direction for Optimus Pensions Administrators Limited. Martins firm provides expertise, oversight and compliance to Philips Trust Corporation.

Bill is one of the founding directors of award winning Endeavour Ventures Limited. Over the last 12 years the company has an unrivalled reputation in the city of success in helping new businesses.
